Call for Applications to the SCWIST Board of Directors

Serving on the SCWIST Board of Directors is an exciting opportunity to gain leadership experience and express your voice as a woman in STEM while helping SCWIST to promote, encourage and empower women and girls in science, technology, engineering, and math. The Board consists of 10 volunteer Directors who are voted in at the AGM in June. This year there are several different Board Director openings available, including executive positions. As a Director on the Board you get to be part of driving various inspiring initiatives, including Status of Women Canada projects, and you get invaluable experience applying for funding through grants and sponsorships.
Please note that all candidates must be a SCWIST member in good standing and should be able to attend the majority of the monthly Board meetings held at the SCWIST office located in downtown Vancouver, as well as SCWIST activities and events. Board member terms are for two years beginning June 2016 to May 2018.
