The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC’s Annual President’s Awards recognize its outstanding members for their exemplary professional, technical and volunteer contributions to engineering, geoscience and the community.

Professional Service Award – Glynnis Horel, P.Eng

Ms. Horel imparts beneficial contributions to the professions of engineering and geoscience through her work with technical organizations, particularly with the Division of Engineers and Geoscientists in the Forest Sector.

Professional Service Award – Nicole Kohnert, P.Eng

Always giving freely of her time, Ms. Kohnert has enriched many lives through her work with APEGBC, the Division for the Advancement of Women in Engineering and Geoscience and Big Sisters.

Young Professional Award – Stella Chiu, P.Eng

In only a few short years, Ms. Chiu has established herself as a promising professional and well-rounded engineer through her exemplary work in wastewater treatment and active involvement in her community.
