IWIS Interview Skills Workshop - March 17, 2010

This job skills workshop will take you through the interview process and help you build the skills needed for an effective interview. The workshop will include practical exercises so you can practice and get feedback on your interviewing technique. Other topics include where to start and the job finding process, the follow up after the interview and what resources are available to job seekers.

Time: 6:00 pm
Location: Westbrook Building, Room #238

6174 University Boulevard, UBC, Vancouver

There is no charge for the event but all participants are asked to bring a food item to share. Please indicate in the “comments” section of the registration poll what you will be bringing (salad, entree, dessert etc). Please register by March 15th in order for us to plan the practise session. This workshop will be mediated by Farnaz Afrasiabi, Sales Manager at StemCell Technologies Inc. Farnaz immigrated to Canada in 2000 and has had extensive experience hiring employees with diverse life science backgrounds.
