2007 SCWIST AGM - July 3, 2007

Members are cordially invited to this year’s SCWIST AGM the evening of Tuesday July 3rd, 2007 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Location: BC Hydro Edmonds Skytrain Auditorium

There is plenty of free street parking nearby. The office is also steps from the Edmonds skytrain station.

Our guest speaker will be Dr. Paula Gordon presenting “Imaging Breasts: Confronting the ‘Controversies’ of Screening Mammography”.

Dr. Gordon is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Radiology, in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia.

She is Chair of the Academic Committee of the Screening Mammography Program of British Columbia.

Dr. Gordon is a reviewer for several medical journals and lectures internationally on various aspects of breast diagnosis. She has authored or co-authored numerous publications related to breast radiology, and has a special interest in breast ultrasound and image-guided needle biopsy. In recognition of her achievements, she has been elected Fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging.

She works in Vancouver as Senior Radiologist at the Breast Program at BC Women’s Hospital, as a screener with the Screening Mammography Program of British Columbia, and in private practice.
