Through the generous donation of the late Dr. Michael Smith (recipient of a Nobel Prize in 1993 for the development of the technique of site-specific mutagenesis), SCWIST benefits from the Michael Smith Endowment Fund established in 1994. This fund goes to support the SCWIST Resource Centre.

Thanks also to a grant from The Centre for Sustainability (Partners in Organizational Development).

A nominal membership fee is collected annually from SCWIST members. This membership fee goes to support SCWIST member events.

SCWIST is a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (Reg. No. 119154607RR0001). SCWIST relies on donations to help support our Resource Centre, our two signature programs as well as SCWIST scholarships and awards. We welcome your contributions and you can now donate online using the red donate button to your right. A tax-deductible receipt will be issued.

The BC Government generously supports SCWIST and IWIS.

ms infinity is generously supported by the Promoscience grant offered by The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC). The funding supports the ms infinity Coordinators, ms infinity conferences, eMentoring program and its volunteer committee.
