The Brown Bag Series is a monthly event organized by the Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology (SCWIST) whose purpose is to provide a place for learning and discussion of topics to help women in STEM fields advance their careers. SCWIST has launched its Make Possible Mentoring Network, part of the Government of Canada’s Status of Women Initiative to advance women in science and technology. On March 5, we are inviting project manager Cheryl Kristiansen to demonstrate how you can connect, collaborate and lead through a dedicated mentoring network in STEM. You can join now at www.makepossible.ca
As part of the Make Possible Program, Gwen Gnazdowsky from One Conversation will deliver a Mentoring Workshop to empower women through mentorship activities and develop skills to create successful mentoring relationships. Hands-on exercises & interactive group discussion will create a supportive learning environment, and networking exercises will help build a sense of community and collaboration.
