Reducing child poverty
Poverty exerts dramatic effects on the lives of children. As an educator, I have seen how poverty robs children of the opportunity to develop their abilities and talents. I support YWCA Metro Vancouver in its work to enable every child to thrive and succeed through its initiatives in reducing child poverty initiative which develops safe and affordable housing for single parent families.
